Mary Beth Gardner Beier

Mrs. Mary Beth Gardner Beier, 59, of Winston-Salem, passed away Monday, May 16, 2011 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born April 28, 1952 in Buffalo, NY to Clarence C. and Betty Nugent Gardner. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Mrs. Beier loved people and was an avid dog lover. Surviving are her husband of 37 years, Greg Beier of the home; three children, Geoffrey Ian Beier (Molly) of Arlington, VA, Aaron Gregory Beier of Denver, NC and Katherine Beier Henderson (Will) of Winston-Salem; one sister, Kathy Reiswig; four brothers, Tim Gardner, John Gardner, Bob Gardner and Phil Gardner and her dogs Arthur and Tippy and her granddogs Daphne, Lucy, Roscoe and Walter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2011 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Michael Buttner officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Forsyth Medical Center Foundation for the Derrick L.
