Martha Louise Smith Wilson

Martha Louise Lyons Wilson passed away Thursday evening March 29, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born on April 21, 1921 in McDowell County, West Virginia to the late James and Hester Pruda Peake Smith. Martha was of the Baptist Faith and retired from F.W. Woolworth Co. with 27 years of service. She is preceded in death by first husband Charlie Lyons; second husband Charles Wilson; and daughter Shirley Poole. Martha is survived by son Billy Lyons and wife Emma, son James Lyons and wife Ann, daughter Shelby Willard and husband Ken, daughter Sharon Jones and husband John, son Wayne Lyons and wife Janet, and daughter Joan Hamby and husband Steve; nineteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a special friend and caregiver Mary Griffin; special friends Louise Sells; and her wonderful dog Pretty Boy. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday April 2, 2012 at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
