Martha Willeford

Mrs. Martha Willeford, 81, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at her home.  She was born August 18, 1939, in Greensboro, NC.  She was a graduate of Forsyth Tech with an A.A.S. in Medical Transcription.  She also worked in the Obituary Department of the Winston-Salem Journal for many years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Willeford.  Surviving are her daughter, Christie Montgomery (James, decd.), and son, Michael Willeford (Jaime).  Martha is also survived by three grandchildren, Joshua Montgomery, Bradley Willeford, and Noah Willeford.  A visitation will be held Sunday, July 11, from 1pm to 3pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, 3315 Silas Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem, NC, 27103.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Martha’s name to the Elizabeth and Tab Williams Adult Day Center, 231 Melrose St., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
