Pfafftown - Mrs. Martha Lee Baker Slater, 62, died Monday, May 19, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born July 27, 1951 in Yadkin County to the late James Thomas and Evleen Matthews Baker. Mrs. Slater was a member of Vienna Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Jimmy Lee Slater, of the home; one daughter, Amber L. Slater of Germanton; one son, Ty L. Slater of the home; one granddaughter, Ashanna L. Stover; four sisters, JoAnn Franklin, Judy Speer, Sandra Chapman, and Patty Woodell; her father & mother-in-law, Roy and Sue Slater.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 22, 2014, at West Bend Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Fowler and Pastor Wayne Willis officiating.
