Mrs. Martha Mozelle Marion, 94, of Salemtowne died Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born January 21, 1920 in Stokes County to Lemuel Ernest and Martha Hauser Sprinkle. Mrs. Marion was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was the eighth and last surviving child of eleven. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Raymond Marion, two sons, Jimmy and Wayne Marion.
Surviving are two sons, Joe Marion (Esther) of Lewisville and Eddie Marion (Joyce) of Clemmons; six grandchildren, Myron Marion (Dawn), Michelle Phelps (Tommy), Melanie Nace, April Smith (Mark), Tracy Marion (Lisa), and Rockie Currie (Tim); 12 great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-law, Annabelle Marion and Ann Brown; a special nephew, Rev. Lemuel Sprinkle.
A private graveside service will be held at Forsyth Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salemtowne Retirement Community or charity of donor's choice. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
