Martha Clara Fuehler Lackey

Martha Clara Fuehler Lackey, 105, of Winston-Salem went home to be with the Lord, Monday, March 7, 2011. She was born October 14, 1905 in Oak Ridge, Missouri to Paul Julius and Mathilda Schmidt Fuehler. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marjorie Lackey Ring, 2 brothers and 7 sisters. Surviving are three sons, De'Owen Lackey (JoAnn) of Asheville, Leon Lackey of Rural Hall and Arden Lackey (Glenda) of Winston-Salem; 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Jim Ring of Jacksonville, Fl.. A Celebration of her life will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor James Murr officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 2415 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, N.C. 27103.
