Martha Jane Kiger

Ms. Martha Jane Kiger, 63, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born in Forsyth Co. on October 8, 1951 to the late J.T. Kiger and Betty Kiger Nelson. Jane was a graduate of North Forsyth High School. She was employed by Paul Rose, Revco Drug and CVS Pharmacy, from where she retired as a pharmacy technician. Jane was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Winston-Salem and was a former member of Marshall Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother; Tommy Kiger. Jane is survived by her step-father, Doug Nelson of Rural Hall, a special aunt; Lula Cox of Winston-Salem, two step-brothers and many special cousins. Jane had many special children in her life that she loved very much. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2014 at Liberty Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. Burial will follow in Marshall Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 prior to the service at the church.
