Martha Sapp Farrington

Kernersville - Martha Sapp Farrington, 89, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Martha was born on June 20, 1926 in Forsyth County to William ""Bill"" Herman Morton and Fran Linville Morton. She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church in Kernersville and was an avid bowler.

In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husbands, James R. Sapp and Howard V. Farrington; two sons, Steve Sapp and Mike Sapp; and son-in-law, William ""Bill"" Fitts.
Surviving are her son, Robin Sapp (wife, Mary) of Kernersville; her daughter, Gwen Fitts of Texas; six grandchildren, Kimberly (Bill) Clarizio, William Fitts, April (Taff) Weinstein, Eric W. Sapp, Brian Sapp and Summer Sapp; and ten great grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
