Martha "Mo" Ragsdale Faircloth

Mrs. Martha ""Mo"" Ragsdale Faircloth, 87, left her earthly body to be with Jesus on Monday, May 12, 2014 at her home. She was born November 25, 1926 in Davie County to Grant Ragsdale and Mary Cline Ragsdale. Mrs. Faircloth was a member of Northwoods Baptist Church and in her later years attended Old Hollow Baptist Church. She worked for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company for 23 years before becoming a CNA at the age of 55. Mrs. Faircloth never met a stranger and treated everyone she met equally. She took great pride in how she presented herself to the world and was very particular on how she looked. She enjoyed cooking and was famous for her Chocolate Éclair Cake. She loved her family. She was preceded in death her parents; husband, Wesley Eugene Faircloth; son, Arlan Eugene Faircloth; grandson, Jon Michael Faircloth. Surviving her are two daughters, Sherry (Vonce) Wiles of King, Cricket Faircloth of the home; one son, Ray (Doris) Faircloth; four grandchildren, Dee Faircloth, Arlen (Lisa) Faircloth, Reagan Wiles, and Carmen (Seth) Miller; one great grandson, Daniel Faircloth; special friends, Linda Rowland, Samantha Martin, Sandy Bowman, Charlie and Sherry Kahn; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Rev. Charlie Kahn, Rev. Jimmy Bowden, and Rev. Arlen Faircloth officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Wednesday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Mo's caregivers, Courtney Ballard, Jennifer Allen, and Barbara Thrift and Hospice and Palliative Care for all of the tender loving care they gave Mo.
