Martha Willard Boose

Mrs. Martha Willard Boose, 62, of Winston-Salem, passed away on February 17, 2017. She was born in Forsyth County on August 7, 1954. Martha was a loving mother and grandmother who was very special to her family. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and loved her dogs. She worked for Hanes Brand for 30 years and received her Bachelor's Degree from High Point University. Martha was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Dalton Willard and her grandmother, Hazel Smith. Surviving are her loving husband Donald Boose; a daughter Melissa Kay Phelps; a son, Adam Boose; her mother, Betty Smith Willard; one brother, Dennis Willard (Donna) and her grandchildren, Landon and Noah Boose. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. John Bishop officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
