Marsha Palanis

Ms. Marsha Lynn Hartman Palanis, 74, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away Monday March 14, 2022, in her home.

Marsha was born to the late Avery Hayden Hartman and Edith Hartman on August 5, 1947, in Forsyth County, NC.

She spent the majority of her life as a hard worker, proudly and honorably as the first female registered sales associate. In her free time, Marsha enjoyed spending time with her card night girls in whom she loved, whether playing spades or just spending quality time with one another.

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents; Avery Hayden Hartman and Edith Graham Wooten Hartman, her brother; Anthony Hartman, and her son; Patrick Gentle. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Deanna Kysor, 2 brothers-in-law; Eric Spence and Carl Browning, 2 grandchildren; Shane Gentle and Sharon Gentle, nieces and nephews; Caroline Spence, Charlotte Spence, Matt Browning, and Meagan Morris, her special friend; Laura Holzbaur, and her card night girls.

There will be no formal services held for Marsha at this time.
