Marlyn 'Kay' Tesh Pope

Mrs. Marlyn ""Kay"" Tesh Pope, age 79 of Westfield passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, Kay was born in Forsyth County, January 28, 1933 to Samuel Lee Tesh, Jr. and Evelyn Mae Thorpe Tesh. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in King and retired from Sara Lee Hosiery. In addition to her parents Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse M. Pope. Two sons: Samuel Ervin and Charles E. McGee. A granddaughter, Casey M. Coleman and sister, Dolores T. Turney also one brother, James Harry Tesh. Surviving is one daughter, Crystal M. (Ronnie) Lindsey of Westfield. Two grandchildren: David W. Hemrick and Nicole L. (Chris) Roberts. Six great-grandchildren and one sister, Lorene T. Jarvis also one brother, Samuel L. (Betty) Tesh III. Several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery with eulogy by Betty D. Tesh.
