Marlene Yvonne Edwards

Marlene Yvonne (Fulton) Edwards, 90, passed away December 30, 2022, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Marlene was born November 17, 1932 to Elmer Georgia Fulton and Clara Pohl Fulton in Evansville Indiana. She had a brief career as a Dental Assistant before meeting and marrying the love of her life for 60 years, Charles Reid Edwards. Her fondness for rabbits/bunnies made her quite a collector of “everything rabbit”. She enjoyed many things such as gardening, cooking, was a member of a Canasta Card club for many years as well as Scout leader for both Cub and Girl Scouts. She traveled quite extensively with her husband on business trips and they spent many years camping with extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles (Charley). Survivors include a son, Randall Lee Edwards (Joan) of Winston-Salem, NC; a daughter, Cynthia Edwards Alman (Dan) of Holden Beach, NC; five grandchildren, John Edwards (Mandy), Sarah Wright (Nick), Ben Edwards, Angela Austin (Ben), Lauren Campbell (James) and six great-grandchildren, Joey, Grayson, Kabrey Ann, Maclain, Caroline and Hannah. A Memorial Service may be scheduled at a later date. She gave generously to quite a few charities. Memorials may be made to the Kate B.
