Mark Zobrosky

Kernersville – Mr. Mark Jay Zobrosky, 67, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Kernersville Medical Center from non-Covid related pneumonia.  He was born July 24, 1954, to the late Duane Eugene Zobrosky and Mary Beatrice Stilp Zobrosky.  More than anything else, Mark was a lover and a follower of Jesus! He was a caring brother, a cherished husband, a praying father of four beautiful daughters, and a very proud ‘PawPaw’ to 18 amazing grandchildren and 3* great-grandchildren.  He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Kernersville, since moving to North Carolina in 1997.

Surviving are his loving & devoted wife since October 23, 1974, Diane Elizabeth Cecrle Zobrosky; Daughter, Rebekah Lee Zobrosky Hargis (Danny; 1964-2001)  Brieaddy (Timothy) of High Point, NC; Grandchildren; Charity, Savannah with *Cheyenne, *Neyland, *Nixon; Ellie, Jez, McLaren, Greer; Daughter, Rachel Diane Zobrosky Toler of Lebanon, OH; Grandchildren; Kirstyn, Ethan, Sophia, Nikki, Pearce; Daughter, Sarah Beth Zobrosky Hurst (Brandon) of Knoxville, TN; Grandchildren; Isaac, Caleb, Eli; Daughter, Mary Elizabeth Zobrosky Rhodes (Tyler) of Walnut Cove, NC; Grandchildren; Tyler, Nate, Reagan, Esther; One brother, David Lee Zobrosky (Alta) of Osceola, IN.

During Mark’s career, he was involved in the upper management levels of retail and loved to work while health allowed it.  He loved to study his Bible, read about history and politics, follow his favorite sports teams, and loved his Sheltie dogs. Mark is now Home, walking with the Good Shepherd and his little sheepdog, Shiloh, and he has never been happier!  In this truth, his family rejoices and is comforted.

A special and heart-felt thanks to Mark Phillips, MD, Greensboro, who cared for Mark, during his long years of chronic pain. He was so much more than a doctor! And a special and heart-felt thanks to our pastor, Randy Edwards, because they enjoyed sweet times of fellowship and prayer over many years. Mark considered you his pastor, friend, and brother in the Lord, Randy. Thank you for being with us in our time of need.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Grace PCA, 360 Hopkins Road, Kernersville, NC 27284 on Saturday, October 09th, at 12 noon, with a time of Visitation beginning at 11:00AM with the service to follow. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to Grace PCA, Kernersville, and note it for the ‘Mark Zobrosky Memorial.’
