Mark E. Tolton, 44, passed away unexpectedly on May 8, 2013 in Winston-Salem, NC. He was born on February 12, 1969 at St. Clare's Hospital, Denville, New Jersey to Walter and Bette Lou Tolton. He is survived by his wife, Chanel Livengood Tolton; sons, Chane and Marley Tolton; step-parents, Al and Dottie Fetter; sisters, Kim Tolton Azadian and Susan Tolton Barba; step-sister Amy-Sue Fetter Hasselbaum; step-brothers; Chip Knapp and AJ Knapp, Christopher Barba; nieces, Sarah Barba Luke, Kathryn Barba, Casey Hasselbaum; nephew, Cameron Hasselbaum; in-laws, Tom & Jean Livengood, Cecily & James McCann; nephew, Liam McCann; and niece, Violet McCann. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bette Lou Fetter; and father, Walter R. Tolton. Mark was employed by EWI in Kernersville and active in Winston Salem Lacrosse as a coach and parent. He appreciated cooking, having spent time as a chef; loved music, football, dogs, the outdoors and time spent with friends and family. He loved all things Philly, the Flyers, Eagles, Phillies and the Mummers. Mark graduated from West Morris Central High School in 1987 and was a varsity wrestler and lacrosse player. Mark was loved deeply and will be missed by many. His infectious smile and joyful personality were trademarks of his wonderful, friendly spirit. He loved his friends and family greatly. He adored his wife, Chanel as well as his sons, Chane and Marley. A memorial service will be held 4:00-5:30 pm, Monday, May 13, at the Boat House field in Reynolda Gardens in Winston-Salem, NC. In lieu of flowers or gifts please make donations to The Tolton Educational Fund held at Piedmont Federal Savings Bank. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
