Mark Andrew Megela

Mark Andrew Megela, 67, of Pfafftown NC, formerly of McKeesport PA, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday February 22, 2025. He was born on October 28, 1957, in McKeesport and was the son of the late Andrew Ham Megela and Julia Ruschak.

Mark is survived by his dear wife of 45 years Robin Sholtis Megela, and three children: daughter Amanda Maultsby (Matt) and granddaughter Scarlett of Asheville NC, son Mitchell of Wrightsville Beach NC, and son Curtis (Lauren Amstutz) of Wilmington NC, as well as his two sisters Andrea Simmons (Jim) and Debbie Thomas (Gary) and many special nieces and nephews. 

While his passing leaves an unfillable void, his life was a testament to love, laughter, and the power of family, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A private celebration of life will be hosted by his family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
