Mark Landreth

KERNERSVILLE – Mark Hamock Landreth, 62, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021, at Forsyth Medical Center. Mark was born on May 11, 1958 in Forsyth County to Johnnie and Helen Roberts Landreth. Mark loved the outdoors and spent a lot of time camping, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed cooking, especially having chicken stews with his family and friends. Mark enjoyed watching westerns and also played the guitar and harmonica. He loved to laugh and was a jokester, teasing and poking fun with anyone that he was with.

In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his son, Shane Allen Landreth.

Surviving are his son, John Landreth; two grandsons, Marc and John Michael Landreth; one great-granddaughter; three sisters, Kathy Crews, Patty Moore (Jack), Michelle Wood (Greg); brother Kelly Landreth(Penny) ; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 1, 2021 at Smith Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Chuck Peters officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Smith Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
