Mark Randall Holleman

Mark Randall Holleman passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2015, after a long battle with cancer. Mark is survived by his wife of 28 years, Catherine Howard Holleman; his baby, 17 year old Rudy the cat, who vigilantly watched over him while he was ill; his brothers John S. Holleman (Margaret), Jr., Norman C. Holleman (Lisa), and Steven L. Holleman; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Mark was predeceased by his parents, John and Ruby Holleman. Mark was born on February 14, 1958. He graduated from Parkland High School in 1976 and attended college at UNC-Wilmington. He loved his brothers, his friends, the beach, music, the Beatles, Ringo Starr and playing his guitar. A Celebration of Mark's Life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at the Pavilion/Fellowship Hall located at the back entrance of Pine Chapel Moravian Church. Please dress casually. Light refreshments will be served. Feel free to just come by and pay your respects or join us in remembering Mark by sharing and listening to stories of his life. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Center of Forsyth, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC, 27103 or Pine Chapel Moravian Church at 324 Goldfloss Street, Winston Salem, NC 27127.
