Mr. Mark Anthony Boger, 55 of Stokesdale, NC passed away Monday, June 17, 2013 at Moses Cone Hospital. Mark was born September 1, 1957 in Forsyth County to William Lawrence Boger, who precedes him in death, and his mother, Anne Boger Sigmon. He was a graduate of RJ Reynolds High School and Davidson Community College and was retired from AMEC Earth and Environmental (formerly MacTec Engineering) as one of only a few NDT Level III Senior Engineers in the state. Mark was a life time member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Winston-Salem, where he served as a deacon and played the bass guitar. He also sang and played the bass guitar with the Singing Tuttle Family gospel group. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Tonoua Birriel Boger of the home, his mother, Anne Boger Sigmon and step-father, Rev. Don Sigmon of Hamptonville, NC, his sister, Marti Boger and fiancé Peter Anderson of Durham, NC, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Winston-Salem. The funeral service will immediately follow and will be officiated by Rev. Tim Wolfe and Mark's stepfather, Rev. Don Sigmon. Burial will follow in the Longtown Cemetery in Yadkinville, NC.
