Marjorie Ruth Humalo

Marjorie Ruth Humalo (Hill) left her earthly home in Winston Salem and was welcomed by Jesus into his heavenly home on October 29, 2014. She was born in Clifton, NJ on July 17, 1921 to the late Hazel and Richard Hill. She will be greatly missed by family and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Marge will be remembered as a ""lady"" who was kind and gentle with a big heart towards others. She leaves behind many loving friends and family members whose lives she has deeply touched. Those of us that were fortunate enough to have had her in our lives will forever have a void that only she could fill.

She was a graduate of Clifton High School and attended Burroughs School of Business in Newark, NJ. She worked for the Prudential Insurance Company in Newark, NJ and Dumont Television in East Paterson, NJ. Mrs. Humalo was a golfer like her husband,
and was a member of several Country Clubs in the states that they lived in. She had been a member of Parkway Presbyterian Church for more than 20 years.


In addition to her parents, Mrs. Humalo was preceded in death by her loving husband Wallace (Bud) Humalo; and her sister, Mrs. Hazel Mae Fox.

Survivors include a niece, Verna Mae (Fox) and her husband Ronald Bretschneider of
Richardsville, VA, and three nephews; Richard William Fox of Fort Collins, CO, Thomas Vernon Fox and his wife Marcella of Bloomingdale, NJ, and John Raymond Fox and his wife Svetlana of Anthem, AZ. She also has several great, and great, great nieces and, nephews.

A memorial service will be held on November 15th at 11:00 AM at Forsyth Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Dan Wilkers officiating.

Hayworth Miller Silas Creek Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial contributions be made to the Parkway Presbyterian Church, 1000 Yorkshire Road, Winston Salem, NC 27106 or to the charity of one's choice.
