Marjorie Lancaster Everett

COLFAX-Marjorie Lancaster Everett, 49, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born December 15, 1959 in Guilford Co., NC. Surviving are her husband, Randy Lee Everett; two children, Amy and Haley Everett; her mother, Barbara Goode Lancaster; her father, Royal Parker Lancaster; two sisters and two brothers, Suzy Cox and husband Mike, Zip Lancaster and wife Deborah, Christy Daniels and husband Mike; John William Lancaster; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Music was Marjy's passion, but helping people was her life. A memorial service will be conducted at 4:30 pm Saturday, July 4, 2009 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with the Rev. Karen Kurtz officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Marjorie Lancaster Everett Memorial Fund, 520 North Bunker Hill Rd., Colfax, NC 27235 or the American Cancer Society, 4-A Oak Branch Dr., Greensboro, NC 27407.
