Marion Frank Huffman

Mr. Marion Frank Huffman, 76, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2023. He was born to George Huffman and Viney Swink on December 11, 1946. Had twin brother and sister George Huffman, Jr. and Juanita Huffman. Raised in Hickory, NC, where most of his family resides to this day. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and trained at Fort Jackson from 1966 to 1967.  Frank had 3 marriages. 1st to Melva Carver, with children born, Jeffrey B.  Huffman and Gina Lynette Huffman.  2nd marriage to Marilyn Huffman, who had 3 children from a previous marriage and William Huffman born. 3rd marriage to Denise with Leah and Frank “Bud” Huffman, Jr. born.  Many grandchildren to follow. He was a resilient man and lighthearted. Frank enjoyed staying on the move. He worked as a brick/stone mason and contractor, passing his knowledge down to his sons. Brother, George Huffman, Jr. and nephew Chris Huffman reverends to Crossroads Baptist Church in Hickory, NC. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. And just recently started prospecting for gold.  He will be missed by many who loved him. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, George Huffman, Jr.; sister, Juanita Huffman; and son, Jeffrey Huffman. He is survived by his four children: Gina Huffman-Hauser, William Huffman, Leah Huffman and Frank Huffman, Jr.
