Mario Torres

Mr. Mario Tello Torres, 53, passed away Friday, October 16, 2009 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He was born July 7, 1956 in Monterey, Mexico to Catarino Tello and Margarita Torres. Mr. Torres was employed for 20 years at Leggett and Platt in Lexington. Surviving is his wife, Reta Lane Tello; daughter, Margarita Ann Tello; son, Kamron Russell Torres; two granddaughters, Breanna and Makayla Scott; step-daughter, Serbrina Palafox (Rafael); four step-grandchildren, Zaria, Rosaleah, Cheyenne, and Santana Palafox; his father, of Mexico; a special mother-in-law, Cuba Ann Wilson; many loving brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry Murphy, Leta and Edgar Pierce, Frankie Lane, Connie and Alex Flores, Topper and Angie Lane, Tesheka and Ralph Bates, Grover Lane, Adrian and Shery Lane, Stephanie Lane and all their families; and many special friends. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Entombment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
