Mrs. Marilyn C. Tuttle, 88, of Advance passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. Marilyn was born in Davie County to Annie P. and John M. Crews on January 14, 1929. She was a graduate of Shady Grove High School, Class of 1945. She was employed by Sara Lee for 45 years until her retirement in 1991. Marilyn was a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, aunt and friend. She is predeceased by her husband, Thomas D. Tuttle; sisters, Virginia Stimpson and Louise Cornatzer; and brothers John M. Crews, Walter Crews, and Robert Crews. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Taylor and Pam Fogleman, both of Advance; two step-grandsons, Allen Fogleman of Charleston, SC and Tyler Fogleman and wife, Michele of Norwood, NC; four step-great grandchildren; a dear brother-in-law, Wiley Tuttle of Winston-Salem; and many nieces and nephews who she dearly loved. A graveside service will be held at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 2:00 P.M with Rev. Bobby Vaughan officiating.
