Marilyn Wiseman Heniff

Shorewood, IL – Ms. Marilyn Wiseman Heniff, 83, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Kernersville Medical Center. She was born on July 14, 1939, in Kosciusko County to Leslie Wilson and Evelyn Clause Wiseman. Prior to her retirement, Marilyn was a Math Professor at Joliet Junior College for many years. Marilyn enjoyed many hobbies like country western dancing and bowling. She was active in multiple bowling leagues. She also enjoyed gambling, playing cards and slots. Marilyn loved spending time with her family and playing cards with them as well. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray and Paul Wiseman.

She is survived by her son, Tom Heniff (wife, Maria); two grandchildren, Thomas Heniff and Sicilia Nilles (husband, Matthew); two sisters, Shirley Nix (husband, Larry) and LaruaLe Modlinski (husband, Jules); and one great grandbaby on the way.

A Celebration of Life for Marilyn will be held at a later date. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
