Marilyn Elaine Emge

WALKERTOWN - Ms. Marilyn Elaine Emge, 80, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. Marilyn was born on May 13, 1932 in Nemaha County Nebraska to the late Peter and Helen Capitola Hayes Lavigne. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, devoting her life to her family. In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Lavigne. Surviving are one daughter, Julle Cox (husband, Gene) of El Paso, TX; one son, Larry Emge (wife, Joanne) of Walkertown; five grandchildren, Brandy Sledge (Richard), Jonathan Cox (Rebekah), Brad Emge, Jennifer Cox and Kimberly Cox; one great granddaughter, Preslie Cox; one great grandson 'Baby Cox', expected in a few weeks; one sister, Dorothy Rhodes, of Washington; five nieces and nephews, Janet, Keith and Neil Rhodes, Mark and Nancy Lavigne. No services are scheduled at this time. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
