Marie Mamie Brown Voss

Marie Voss, 83, of Clemmons, NC, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 6, 2023. She was born to Vance and Percie (Perk) Brown on January 30, 1940, in Booneville, NC.  

She was known for her love of reading, painting, and baking. Marie was a former school bus driver for the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School System. She was also an avid baker who designed wedding, birthday and baby shower cakes.

Marie taught her family love, resilience, and how to make a mean banana pudding which is a recipe that will be cherished for generations to come.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Harold Voss, her brother Bobby, and her parents. 

She is survived by her four children and eight grandchildren.

An intimate memorial service will be held for family and close friends at 11:00am on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Westlawn Gardens of Memory Mausoleum.
