Marie Phillips Marion

Mrs. Marie Phillips Marion, widow of Paul Marion, Jr died May 7, 2014. She was born May 22, 1920 in Winston-Salem, NC to Lawrence and Celestine Phillips. She was educated in local schools and was a member of Home Moravian Church. She retired from AT&T Technologies in 1984 with 33 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters and daughters, June Marion Raper and Nancy Carolyn Marion. She is survived by one son, Jim and wife Lisa; grand-children, Darlene, Keith, Allen, Kendra, Paul and wife Ashley, and Ty; great grand-children Brelan, Katelyn, and Lawson; special friends Teena, Dottie, and Frances; and a nephew Ricky Williams. The family will receive friends at Parklawn Memorial Park Chapel at 1:00 pm Friday, May 9. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Virginia H. Tobiassen and the Rev.
