Marie Ethel Bartley Isaacs

Mrs. Marie Ethel Bartley Isaacs, 96, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Village Care of King. She was born in Surry Co. on July 8, 1920 the daughter of the late Elder Claude Early Bartley and Viola Mae Matthews Bartley. Marie had a large family that she loved dearly, as they loved her. She will be missed deeply by all who knew her. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Isaacs and two sisters, Vergie Royal Tate and Valeria Williams. She is survived by two daughters; Shelby Isaacs Burrow and Patricia Isaacs Rominger (Gene), two sons; Bobby Dean Isaacs, Sr. and Junior Melvin Isaacs (Joyce), 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren and one sister; Elizabeth Ausburne of Mt. Airy. A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown with Bobby Dean Isaacs, Jr. officiating. The family would like to send a special thank you to staff of Village Care for all of the love and support shown throughout the last few years. They would also like to thank Dr. Mariah and Dr. Braswell for their care of Marie.
