Marie Helen Faresich (Nussbaum) (Gallione) – September 18, 1942 – May 18, 2023
The Lord called our precious mom home, unexpectedly. There are no words to adequately describe this treasure on earth. “Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift.” 2 Corinthians 9:15
Ma-Rie was our everything, our matriarch. Our mom lived an inclusive, not exclusive existence. Her life and home were open to all, her doors and front porch, always open and most of all, her heart was a space that had room for anyone. It was her talent and mission to be something to everyone. And she was. Marie served all with endless sacrifice and love. This beautiful woman had a heart so full of service, thoughtfulness and love of people, we will never forget. Every action, with care and purpose. Wishing we could have one more moment, we will lock them in our hearts, forever.
Left to grieve her loss, her seven children: Frederick ‘Skip’ W. Gallione III (Annie), Kenneth W. Gallione (Susie), Timothy W. Gallione (Isabel), Thomas W. Gallione, Roeman Deyoe (Robert), Katherine Marie Robin (Art), Joseph W. Gallione (Caryn). Big brothers William Nussbaum, Carl Nussbaum and little sister Joann Cirelli. Her grandchildren: Nicole Gallione (Joe), Timothy Gallione Jr., Jan Robin, Andrew Robin (Brittany), Sara Stickley (Blake), Gina Gallione, Joey Gallione, Olivia Gallione, Anthony Gallione, Hope Gallione, Max Gallione, Nate Gallione. Her great grandchildren Benjamin and Luke, Ellie, Alex, Alyssa and Rebecca. Countless cousins very dear to her, nieces, nephew, friends, neighbors, all those who knew her will miss her. Reunited now in heaven with her true love, Ed; her parents; special aunts, uncles and dear friends.
Celebration of life will be Friday June 2, at 11am. Redeemer Yadkin Valley Church 815 Williams Rd., Lewisville. There will also be a celebration to honor her in New Jersey, later this summer.
“My eyes are dim with grief, I call to you, Lord, every day; I spread out my hands to you.” Psalm 88:9
