Marie Mabe Bowman

KERNERSVILLE - Marie Mabe Bowman, 83 went to be with her Lord, Thursday, May 24, 2012. She was born June 22, 1928 in Stokes Co. to the late James Allen and Elizabeth Hicks Mabe. Mrs. Bowman was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church in Walnut Cove. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Willie Bowman. Surviving are her children, Rev. William Bowman and wife, Linda of Kernersville, Lib Boles and husband, Wayne of Walkertown, Tommy Bowman and wife, Jeanette of Greensboro; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. William Bowman and Rev. Jeff Boles officiating. Burial will follow in Sycamore Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9:00 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2012 at the funeral home.
