Marian Eleanor Parlante

Marian Eleanor Parlante, 87, of Winston-Salem passed away Monday, September 8, 2008 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born July 12, 1921 in Perth Amboy, NJ to Anthony and Angela Celiberti Parlante. Marian was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and was retired with 37 years of service from Army Corps of Engineers as an accountant in New York City. She is survived by a daughter, Vanessa Horan and husband Tim of Winston-Salem; a grandson, Matt Horan of Winston-Salem; a cousin, Marie Parlante of Winston-Salem; a niece, Susan Masino of Idaho; a nephew, Andrew Parlante of Idaho and a sister-in-law, Caprina Parlante of Idaho. A mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Michael Buttner officiating. Entombment will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Savannah Place Club House (off Peace Haven Rd.). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B.
