Marian Fleming Gwyn

Mrs. Marian Fleming Gwyn, 79, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 10, 2015. She was born July 3, 1935 in Surry County to the late Essie Martin Fleming and John Fleming. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gwyn was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 50 years, J. C. Gwyn and four siblings: Margaret, Joan, Bobby, and John D. Mrs. Gwyn is survived by two daughters, Tina Gwyn of Rural Hall and Sharon Joyce and husband, Danny of Madison along with their son, Kevin Joyce and wife, Dana and their children, Caroline and Connor of Gastonia; one son, Ted Gwyn and his family of Texas; one brother, Charles Fleming of Mt. Airy; and also several extended family members and numerous friends. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 13 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Rev.
