Maria Margarita Tapia de Apodaca

Maria Margarita Tapia de Apodaca, 62, of Winston-Salem passed away Monday, March 21, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born September 28, 1948 in Mexico to Andres Tapia and Manuela Martinez. Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Jose Apodaca-Gomez; four sons, Jose de Jesus Apodaca, Arnulfo Apodaca, Manuel Apodaca, and Steve Gary Apodaca; two daughters, Patricia Apodaca and Maria del Rocio Apodaca; her mother, Manuela Martinez; thirteen grandchildren, Jose Jr. Apodaca, Jimmy Apodaca, Jayce Apodaca, Adrianne Zamora, Tiffany Zamora, Valerie Zamora, Richard Zamora, Jose Manuel Guzman, Elissa Guzman, Bryan Apodaca, Arnulfo Apodaca, Natalie Itzel Apodaca, and Edward Gabriel Apodaca. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 23 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service.
