Margie Southern Weaver

Mrs. Margie Southern Weaver, 85, of Winston-Salem, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born December 13, 1927 in Forsyth County to William Stanley and Beulah Harris Southern. Mrs. Weaver was a charter member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church where she was active on several committees, a Sunday School teacher, and UMU leader. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde L. Weaver; two brothers, Harvey M. and Robert L. Southern; and a dear cousin, Helen Kluttz. Surviving are several nieces and nephews; and many special friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 4 at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bret Cogan and Dr. Gray Southern officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday at the church one hour prior to the service.
