Mrs. Margie Mae Sides Teague, 93, of Winston-Salem passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born on Sept. 18, 1924 in Forsyth County to Robert Eli and Flossie Anne Sides. Mrs. Teague was a member of New Philadelphia Moravian Church for 63 years. She enjoyed gardening and loved flowers. She was devoted to her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Calvin Teague; two brothers, William and Kenneth Sides; three sisters, Mary Snyder, Roberta Renegar, and Edith Kinnaman. Mrs. Teague is survived by a son, Dr. Sidney C. Teague, II and wife Camilla Wilcox; a daughter, Susan Mitchell and husband Dave; seven grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; one brother, Robert "Bobby" Sides and wife Dot; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at New Philadelphia Moravian Church with Dr. Worth Green officiating. Interment will follow at the church graveyard. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to New Philadelphia Moravian Church, 4440 Country Club Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27104 or to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Ln. Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
