Margie Lee Eaton

KERNERSVILLE-Margie Lee Eaton, 79, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Britthaven of Kernersville. She was born July 29, 1929 in Forsyth Co. to the late Noble Casper and Carrie Landreth Eaton. Margie was a member of Goodwill Baptist Church since the age of 14. She retired from Sara Lee with 32 years of service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, George and David Eaton. Surviving are four sisters, Vera Eaton and Jewel Eaton of Kernersville, Pauline Watson of King, and Nealie Watson of Pilot Mountain; one brother, Tom Eaton of Belews Creek; many nieces and nephews; and one very special niece, Ruth Ann Greene and husband Jerry. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday, December 26, 2008 at Hayworth Miller Funeral Service Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Greg Mullis officiating. Burial will follow in Goodwill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Britthaven and Bradford Village East for all of the care that was given to Margie.
