Margaret Vestal

Margaret Jean “Jeannie” Vestal, 71, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away peacefully on Sunday August 14, 2022.

She was born on May 25, 1951, in Martinsville, VA. She was the daughter of the late Harvey O. Vestal and Louise M. Vestal.

Jeannie later grew up in Winston-Salem, NC and graduated from R. J. Reynolds High School. She was a member of Winston-Salem First.  Jeannie was a loving mother, grand-mother, sister, and friend. Her kind and generous spirit was evident to all that knew her, and she loved her family and friends beyond measure.

In addition to her parents, Jeannie was preceded in death by her son, Lloyd Martin Seawell IV.

Jeannie leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Jeannie (Eric) Middlebrooks of Fayetteville, GA; her grandchildren:  Robert Justin (Amanda) Seawell of Winston-Salem, NC, David (Whitney) Seawell of St. Mary’s, GA, Christopher Martin Jr. of Greensboro, NC, Samuel Martin of Ferrum, VA, and India Martin of Brookhaven, GA; her brother Larry Quincy Vestal of Lilburn, GA; her sister Brenda Rourk of Winston-Salem, NC; her nieces Charlene (Mike) Chastain of Winston Salem, NC and April (Steve) Tuttle of Walkertown, NC; and her great grandchildren and great niece and nephews, as well as numerous extended family and friends.

A private graveside service will be held on August 28, 2022.
