Margaret Blair Price Tredwell

Mrs. Margaret Blair Price Tredwell, 63, passed away Friday, October 15, 2010 at her home. She was born February 16, 1947 in Fayette County, W. VA to Samuel Worth and Margaret Blair Lawrence Price. Mrs. Tredwell was a member of Lutheran Church of the Epiphany. She retired from Lucent Technologies and currently worked for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of NC. She received a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Randolph Macon Women's College and dual Master's degrees in Health Care Administration and Business Administration from Pfeiffer University. She appreciated the beauty in every environment and talents in every person. Mrs. Tredwell's interests included lapidary work and English and Russian history. She cherished a number of her pets. Preceding her in death was her father, Samuel Worth Price. Surviving is her husband, Scott Tredwell; son, David Tredwell of Carrboro, NC; mother, Margaret Blair Lawrence Price of Danville, VA; two brothers, Sam Price and wife Babette of Danville, VA and Joe Price and wife Rebecca of Raleigh, NC; also surviving are two nieces and five nephews. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Lutheran Church of the Epiphany with Pastor Ray Mohrmann and Pastor Laura Wind officiating.
