Margaret McKee Starkey

Kernersville - Mrs. Margaret Starkey, 62, died April 18, 2016 at Hospice Home of High Point. Margaret was born December 8, 1953 in Mobile County, Alabama to David L. McKee Sr. and Inez D. McKee. Margaret was an active member of The Bridge in Kernersville and loved to travel and cook.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald McKee; and a nephew, John David McKee.

Surviving are her husband, David Starkey; two sons, Daniel David Starkey and Matthew Michael Starkey; and grandchildren, Alexis and Jordan Starkey.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016 at The Bridge with Pastor D.A. Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Gur Cemetery. Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
