Margaret Coleman Page

Mrs. Margaret Coleman Page, 89, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Kernersville Medical Center. Margaret was born on August 27, 1927 in Wilson Co, NC to the late Robert Charles and Martha Wiggins Coleman. She was an active member of Main Street Baptist Church in Kernersville for over 50 years and she loved her church family. Margaret was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed. She was a registered nurse and worked for over 60 years before retiring. She loved to travel and spend time with her family, church family, and friends. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her daughter, Margaret Ann Price; four sisters, Mary Gartrell, Sadie Corbett, Bhama Littleton, and Linda Lamm; and one brother, Franklin Coleman. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 62 years, George C. Page; one son, Bob Page; a grandson, Andy Price; a sister, Katie Watts; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Margaret will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Walter Overman officiating. Interment will follow the service at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
