Margaret Routh McCann

Mrs. Margaret Routh McCann, 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 7, 2014 at Kernersville Medical Center. She was born September 13, 1932 in Randolph County, NC to the late Floyd Routh and Patsy Wright Routh. Mrs. McCann will always be remembered as a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Alvin McCann, a sister, Carolyn Radcliff, a brother, Joseph Routh. She is survived by her son, Kris McCann of Winston-Salem; her sisters-in-laws, Wilma Gregory of Murphy, NC, Delma Brewer and husband Jimmy of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Lois Kapp of Fuquay Varina, NC; her nephew, Larry Routh of Thomasville and her cousins, Bobby and Ann Richardson of Randleman. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
