Margaret Albertson Maready

Advance-Mrs. Margaret Albertson Maready, 69, passed away Friday, March 30, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was born May 2, 1942 in Duplin County to the late John Bryant and Mary Futrell Albertson. She retired from Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center as a nurse with 40 years of service. Mrs. Maready was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Surviving is her husband of 48 years, Milo Maready; three children, Lisa M. Armsworthy (Mark) of Advance, Michael Keith Maready (Debra) of Mebane, and Douglas Wayne Maready (Jennifer) of Midway; five grandchildren; four sisters, Grace Rogers of Clemmons, Betty Mobley of Beulaville, Ann Hunter of Chinquapin, and Kay Sanderson of Wallace; brother, James Albertson of Beulaville; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Rev. Wayne Swisher officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. The burial will be held 1:00 PM on Monday at Westlawn Gardens of Memory. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Comprehensive Cancer Center, Medical Center Blvd. Winston-Salem, NC 27157.
