Margaret Smith Jones

KERNERSVILLE- Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Smith Jones, 97, died Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Trinity Glen Nursing Home. Margaret was born on September 18, 1915 in Forsyth County to the late James and Octavia Ballard Smith. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church for over 70 years. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny C. Jones; three sisters; and two brothers. Surviving are one brother, Windell Smith; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Kernersville Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Don Davis officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
