Margaret Sue Jennes

Margaret Sue Brewster Jennes, 80 of Winston-Salem Passed away Monday, January 19,2009. Ms. Jennes was born February 18, 1928 in Tazwell, Va to Francis and Amanza Course Brewster. She attended Becks Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and painting. Ms.Jennes was a graduate of Concord University with a degree in Social Work and was a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked most of her life as a Nurse before serving as a Social Worker for Southern Highlands Mental Health Clinic in Welch, W.VA. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Crockett ""Bruce"" Brewster, Gordie Brewster and a sister, Ann Pauley. Survivig are three children; Walter Wilkes and wife Barbara Ann of Mesquite, Texas, Michael Wilkes of Austin, Texas, Rebecca Cole and husband, James of Winston-Salem; three grandchildren; Diane Wilkes, Walter ""Buddy: Wilkes, David Cole, a sister, Edith Hager of Bluefield, Va. and extended family in the Baltimore, MD Area, West Virginia and Virginia. The Funeral Service will conducted 11:00 am Saturday, January 24 at Beck's Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Ray Hamilton. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Beck's Baptist Church, 5506 Beck's Baptist Church Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27106.
