Margaret Jewel Steelman Hull

Mrs. Margaret (Jewel) Steelman Hull, 89, of Clemmons died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents William Boone Steelman and Pearl Alice Renegar; husband, Troy (Cotton) Owen Hull; four sisters, Cora Lee Pope, Bernice Stewart, Jessie Pruitt, and Ruth Edsel Sapp; and two brothers, Daniel and Junior Steelman. She was a lifelong member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church and was a volunteer at Forsyth Memorial Hospital. Until her retirement, Jewel owned and operated her own hair salon, Charm Beauty Salon. Survivors include one son, Steven Owen Hull and wife Jan from Sherrills Ford, NC; one grandson, Christopher Owen Hull (Kim) of Winston-Salem; a granddaughter, Carrie Lee Hull Ivester (Brian) of Charlotte, NC; two great-grandchildren, Rachel Hull and Carter Hull of Winston-Salem. A service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Forsyth Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Gus Thomas and Dr. Cecil Cave officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the mausoleum. Memorials may be made to Trinity Elms, Clemmons, NC; Kate B.
