Margaret Holden Harris

Mrs. Margaret Holden Harris, 71, of Kernersville passed away Saturday, November 27, 2010 at her home. She was born April 20, 1939 in Davie County to Travis and Laura Ward Holden. Mrs. Harris was a longtime member of Grace Bible Church in Winston-Salem. She was a military wife of 19 years. She loved her grandchildren, and loved going to Disney World. Surviving is her husband of 50 years, Frank E. Harris of the home; one daughter, Ginger Martin and husband Mike of Belews Creek; one son, Johnny Harris and wife Kayla of Atlanta, GA; ten grandchildren, Nicolas, Nathan, Lauren, Samantha, Hayden, Caitlen, Emma, Blake, Anna and Carson; one brother, Frank T. Holden and wife Shirley of Yadkinville; a nephew, Scott Holden and wife Martha; and great nephews, Travis and Shannon. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 1 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Herb Mabe officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
