Margaret Fulton

Kernersville – Mrs. Margaret Ruth Young Fulton, 89, passed away September 8, 2021 at Kernersville Medical Center. She was born February 21, 1932 in Forsyth County to the late Paul Franklin Young and Ruth Mae Burgess Young. Margaret loved to travel and sing. She sang in a quartet and in the church choir. She loved her church and enjoyed teaching Sunday school. She was preceded in death by two sisters; Esther Whitley and Pauline Hedgecock.

She is survived by two sons; Leon Fulton and wife Carolyn, Gary Fulton and wife Patricia, two grandchildren; Nicole Fulton, and Tayler Fulton and wife Mindy, two great grandchildren, Jaxson Fulton, and Conner Fulton, and her sister, Nancy Sue Summers of Tennessee, and many special nieces and nephews.

With masks optional and social distancing observed, a funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, September 11,2021 at Goodwill Baptist Church with Pastor Greg Mullis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 1:45 PM prior to the service at the church.
