Margaret Terrell Davis

DAVIS - King Mrs. Margaret Terrell Davis, 76, passed away Wednesday afternoon, May 13, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born July 29, 1932 in Forsyth County to the late Joseph Prey and Florence Carpenter Terrell. Margaret was cherished by her family and will always be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Avohn; her son, Butch; and three sisters, Edith, Nita and JoAnn. She is survived by one daughter, Becky; five sons, Ronald, Mark, Chris, Eddie and Steve; eight grandchildren, Nicole, Gina, Julie, Lisa, Amber, Kristen, Misty and Justin; many great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, May 16 at Forsyth Memorial Park with the Rev. Bruce Harris officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the home of Ronald Davis, 7390 Brookvalley Road, Rural Hall, NC 27045. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to all of Mrs. Davis' doctors, nurses, and especially, Universal Healthcare of King; We will always remember you and forever appreciate your help in providing Mrs. Davis the best care possible. The family also wishes to thank all of the friends for their love, prayers and support.
