Margaret Lucille Carter

Winston Salem- Mrs. Margaret Lucille Hubbard Carter, 94, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 13, 1921 to the late Arizona Hodge Hubbard and Robie Wilson Hubbard. Lucille was a member of the Kernersville Wesleyan Church. She loved to crochet and quilt for children. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Charles Carter.
Surviving are one daughter, Brenda Sue Carter Wood of the home, five grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, six great great-grandchildren, three sisters, Elizabeth Butler of Fortworth, TX, Ora Belle Holden of Kernersville, and Mary Jane Price of King, a brother, Allen Hubbard of Kernersville, and many special nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Kernersville Wesleyan Church with Pastor Phil Hulen and Pastor Don Martin officiating.
